• Anagen Phase (Active Growth): The "baby" lashes. They are short and fragile. A specialist knows that heavy extensions should NEVER be applied to these lashes; at most, a very thin extension is used to avoid blocking the follicle.
• Catagen Phase (Transition): The lash has reached its maximum length. This is the ideal phase for applying extensions, providing perfect support.
• Telogen Phase (Rest and Shedding): The lash is ready to fall out naturally (we lose between 2 and 5 lashes daily). Extensions applied to these lashes will shed the fastest, being a completely natural process.

The Art of Perfect 1:1 Isolation

The most important step in a premium application is isolation. Using high-precision tweezers, the lash artist separates a single natural lash from the rest. Once isolated, a single extension (or a single fan, in the case of volume technique) is applied at a safe distance of 0.5 - 1 mm from the eyelid.

What happens if isolation is incorrect? Multiple natural lashes will stick together (so-called "stickies"). Because each lash is in a different growth phase, a rapidly growing Anagen lash will pull on a stagnating Telogen lash. The result?
