Eyeliner Micropigmentation (Eye Tattoo): Styles, Benefits & Healing
Drawing the perfect eyeliner wing every morning is, for many of us, a real challenge. It takes time, an extremely steady hand, and often results in frustrating asymmetries. Moreover, throughout the day, classic eyeliner tends to smudge, run at the gym, or fade when it comes into contact with water.
This is where the magic of eyeliner micropigmentation (also known as eyelid contour or eye tattoo) comes in. This semi-permanent makeup procedure has revolutionized the beauty industry, giving you an intense, perfectly contoured look that stays flawless 24/7, regardless of your activities.
Micropigmentation Styles: What suits you?
The procedure is not "one size fits all". Every set of eyes is unique, and at Alessandra Crețu we adapt the eyeliner according to your physiognomy, eye shape, and personal preferences. Here are the most popular styles:

Shadow Eyeliner

Ideal for: Women who desire a more sophisticated makeup look or those with slightly hooded eyes.
Is the procedure painful or dangerous?
Many clients are reluctant at the idea of working so close to the eye. It is completely normal! However, with modern technology, the procedure is extremely safe and comfortable. We use top-tier local anesthetic creams, applied both before and during the procedure, which minimizes discomfort (most clients only feel a slight vibration).
In addition, high-precision equipment and nano needles allow us to work strictly in the upper layers of the skin (the epidermis), without touching the sensitive areas of the eye. Your eyes are closed and protected throughout the entire session.
Healing and Longevity
The healing process is short. For the first 2-3 days, the eyes may be slightly swollen (as if you had been crying), and the color of the eyeliner will appear very intense. As the skin heals (after the 4th day), a thin film will naturally exfoliate, leaving behind a softer, more natural color.
Unlike other areas of the face, the skin on the eyelids retains pigment excellently. A semi-permanent eyeliner can last between 2 and 5 years, making it one of the most durable and cost-effective investments in your beauty routine.
